Divergent Trends in Outperformance Among MSCI Regions

As we noted a while back (see here), about 50% of constituents outperform the MSCI World Index at any given time:

Regional differences have become somewhat more pronounced over the last month or so, however. North America remains the most similar to the overall index, oscillating closely around the 50% mark. Conversely, the number of companies outperforming in Europe has plummeted and Asia-Pacific is showing a pick-up in performance:
